Weekly Blurb Christmas impossible?

Christmas impossible?

Sunday 31 October, 2004 · Posted by Philip Bassett

Thats the name well be giving to our major Christmas Carols event this year. As part of our Mission strategy this year we will be moving from our own car park into the grounds of Pendle Hill High School for the community carols on Friday 17th December.

We hope by this move to be able to present the gospel of our Lord to a broader section of or community. The possibility of carols in PHH school has come about through the ministry of Timothy Adams in teaching Scripture at the school as well as the breakfast club and lunchtime group he has been running.

Please pray for good weather, good attendances and above all God's blessing on this initiative as we seek to win our community for Christ.

We will be having Carols Services in the church on Sunday19th December, an 11pm service on Christmas Eve, and the usual 2 services on Christmas day so there will be ample opportunities to celebrate in Toongabbie Anglican Church this Christmas. Because boxing Day is a Sunday we will be having one service only that day, a service of Holy Communion at 8am.

In a few weeks well be looking for people to help with all the jobs that need to be done to make our Carols outreach a success.
