Farewell to the kings

Bishop Brian King retires at the end of this year and so a farewell function for Brian and Pamela has been organized for Saturday 30^th November. Because of the number of people who will no doubt want to attend and because the Olympic Stadium wasn't available our church has been allocated only 15 tickets for the function . The cost of each ticket is a donation of $10 and these will go to the first 13 people who ask me. (The other two are for Margaret and me.)

We will have two other opportunities to see the Kings before their final farewell. One is at our Confirmation Service on November 10 and the other is the PEP visit on November 19 (but you have to be on Parish Council for that one).

Please pray for Brian and Pamela as they prepare for retirement from full-time ministry, and please pray for Archbishop Peter Jensen as he chooses Brian's successor.
