Ministry Development Program workshops

Ministry Development Program (MDP) workshops are a way of gaining some practical skills for ministry at TAC. They run for approximately 1-1.5 hours on a Sunday afternoon, three or four times per year, and provide some training for things that we do most weeks at church. They are a great way to investigate a new way of serving the church, or to refresh your memory for something you’ve been doing for a while.

Ministry Development ProgramThe workshop will be on Sunday, 29th March, 2009, from 2 - 3:30pm. You can choose from one of two great options:

  1. Tech @ TAC - a walkthrough on setting up and operating the audio/visual elements of a church meeting, including driving the powerpoint computer, turning on and using the sound mixer, and recording Bible talks.  OR
  2. Safe Ministry - a seminar on best practice when working with children and young people. If you are already a helper or regular at a creche, Kids Church, One80, Scripture, or another ministry involving kids, this is a compulsory seminar for you.
