Prayer points from the Neal’s — Part 3
Thursday 16 June, 2005 · Posted by Neil Atwood
Ian & Judy are settling in quickly in the caravan park in Newman.
They were delighted to find that their site actually has a Telstra landline point, which they will have switched on in the next few days! This will make voice and internet communications much easier₀
From Ian & Judy:
PRAISE GOD!:
- As our time here starts to unfold we want to praise God for his consistency in our day, not only in our day but in each hour of each day.
- Life at this point is constantly changing. In fact we have a saying "OK God what is in store for us today" and then we say "OK what next", because that is the way it has been. Talk about being challenged to rely on his faithfulness in providing our needs and in all we do.
- We now find ourselves approaching the time of being more involved with Brian and Annie Fyffe, pray that we will tread gently finding a way of building them both up, also their ministry here.
- Last Sunday at church we met W. a fellow who has been down on his luck. Pray that God will help keep him strong as he endeavours to stay of alcohol and work as a stockman on a property 100km from town.
- Pray that we will be able to connect more with A. and show God's love to her. Again she is someone who has had a hard life having been on the streets since she was 12. Praise God that she is now working for the mine and starting to look at life more responsibly.
- Praise God for the friendliness of people here. We ask that God will help us be able to get below the surface with these people.
- Praise God also that our friend whom we met 2 years ago whilst traveling is still here in Newman. As time unfolds help us to develop the friendship to a deeper level.
- Could you join us in asking God to sustain us through this time of constant change is very tiring.
- We also want to thank you for your prayer support.
